Energy Transfer

Conduction-transfer of energy through matter from particle to particle.
Ex. A spoon in a cup of hot tea becomes warmer because the heat from the soup is conducted along the spoon.

Convection-transfer of heat by the actual movement of the warned matter.
Ex. Macaroni rising and falling in a pot of heating water. The warmer portions of the water are less dense and therefore they rise.

Radiation-electromagnatic waves that directly transport energy through space.
Ex. Sunlight is a form of radition that is radition through space to our planet that aid of fluids or soilds.
